Press release European Travel Enterprises on FAM trip to survey Hanoi tourist destinations

Under the direction of Hanoi People’s Committee, from 04th to 10th October 2018, Hanoi Department of Tourism, in cooperation with Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines), has welcomed the delegation of 22 travel enterprises from 11 countries including Austria, Poland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy on a FAM trip to survey tourist destinations of Hanoi - Vietnam.
The welcome program for FAM delegation of European travel enterprises to survey tourist destinations in Hanoi - Vietnam is a cooperative activity between tourism and aviation industry which aims at further strengthening tourism cooperation and promotion at the destionations through the development and experience of interregional tourism products. Also, the program is an opportunity for Vietnamese tourism enterprises and representatives of destinations to introduce new tourism products, which contributes to the promotion of tourism of Hanoi – Vietnam.
Details of the program are as follow:
1. Surveying tourism destinations and products of Hanoi and its vicinity
Time: from 5th to 10th October 2018
Surveying tourism destinations and products in Hanoi and its vicinity: Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Temple of Literature; Vietnam Art Museum; Hoan Kiem lake; Ngoc Son Temple; Hanoi Old Quarter; Thang Long Citadel; Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Stilt House, One-Pillar Pagoda; Duong Lam ancient village; Van Phuc silk village; Huong Son Complex of natural beauty and historical monuments; Ha Long Bay – the Natural World Heritage.
2. Meeting between the FAM delegation with state management agencies, organizations, travel enterprises, tourist destinations, media reporters.
2.1. Time: 13.30 – 17.30, 10 October 2018 (Wednesday).
2.2. Location: Hanoi Pullman Hotel - 40 Cat Linh, Dong Da, Hanoi.
2.3. Agenda:
- B2B Program: meeting, discussion and introduction of tourism products between Vietnamese and European travel enterprises.
- Introduction and discussion of tourism destinations and products by Department of Tourism, Vietnam Airlines and participants.
The welcome program for FAM delegation of European travel enterprises surveying tourism in Hanoi is an opportunity for the city’s tourism industry to introduce a “safe – friendly – attractive destination with high-quality services in Hanoi in particular and in Vietnam in general” to international friends and tourists.
